If you create another membership account from the New Member Application Form, you will duplicate your membership in EMMY Express. EMMY Express will not be able to recognize your membership; your duplicate membership will have to be deleted from the system. Please contact the office to have your duplicate membership deleted.

ENTRANTS
Each entrant (statue eligible individuals) must become or renew membership BEFORE the submission is started. Entrant names (statue eligible individuals) are only accepted if their contributions were tantamount to the entry’s award-worthiness. Entrant names (statue eligible individuals) are only accepted at time of entry before the deadline, and appropriate fees must be paid. Make sure you have included all the entrants (statue eligible individuals) in your submission. NO ENTRANT NAMES WILL BE ADDED AFTER THE ENTRY DEADLINE-MIDNIGHT, JANUARY 26th!
JUDGING PREFERENCE ERROR
On the entrant tab, click on the pencil icon next to the price, that will open the entrant record and you will see a dropdown menu to select a judging preference, click on a preference then save/update the entrant info and you will be all set.

COMPOSITES OR MULTIPLE PIECES
A sampling of a minimum of two (2) and no more than five (5) representative segments or examples of work that convey to a judging panel the scope, breadth, or range of an individual’s talents within the specified craft category. The elements within a composite, unless otherwise noted in the category description, are to be “as aired” with no post-distribution changes, such as additional edits, music or special effects. Composites may include stories or segments in their entirety and/or excerpts from longer content. One to two seconds of black between cuts, with no audio or slates, must be added to separate segments within the composite.

Avoid Disqualification:
- Don’t wait until the very last minute to submit your work. Give yourself some breathing room to make changes or corrections and ask questions. No changes after the deadline!!
- Everything you type into your Emmy® Express will be used for official lists and statue engraving. Make sure it is correct. No changes after the deadline!!
- DON’T TRY TO GAME THE SYSTEM! You are not allowed to list yourself as “videographer” on one entry and then list yourself as “photographer” on the same content in a different category.
- Check your
spelingspelling - Do Not Use
ALL CAPSall caps - Spanish Language Entrants make sure you have selected Spanish Language in Emmy® Express
- A draft is not a submitted entry! Make sure you have hit the SUBMIT button when doing the entry and it is not left on your dashboard as a draft.
