2019 Governors’ Scholarships

 

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) is a professional service organization dedicated to the advancement of the arts and sciences of television and related media and the promotion of creative leadership for artistic, educational and technical achievements within the television industry, best known for the coveted Emmy® Award.

The NATAS Boston/New England Chapter Scholarship Foundation, Inc. is please to announce that two  $5,000 Scholarships will be awarded this year.

One scholarship to a high school senior that intends on declaring their major in the television field or a related field and will be attending a four year undergraduate college or university.

High School Scholarship Eligibility Requirements:

  • High school senior graduating in 2019.
  • Intends on declaring their major in the television or a related field
  • Will be attending a four year undergraduate college or university
  • New England resident
  • Applicant must be available to attend the Boston/New England Emmy Award Ceremony in June 15, 2019.

One scholarship will be awarded to a college or university student that is majoring in the television field or a related field and currently attending a four year undergraduate college or university.

College/University Scholarship Eligibility Requirements:

  • Undergraduate college or university student, (freshman, sophomore or junior) currently enrolled in college and attending in the fall of 2019
  • Declared majored in the television field or a related field
  • Attending a four year undergraduate college or university
  • New England resident and attending a New England College or University
  • Applicant must be available to attend the Boston/New England Emmy Award Ceremony in June 15, 2019.
